Persisters addresses the potential of art to empower and transform during times of political upheaval. British American artist Jo Hay, will present her ongoing series of large scale paintings of trailblazing women. These visually stunning portraits powerfully depict women whose pursuit of justice and equality remind us of the importance of human courage in the midst of political division.

The series includes Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, Ayanna Pressley, Rachel Maddow, Greta Thunberg, and Elizabeth Warren among others.
